6 years as an industry employee and 5 years as a freelance writer.

Clinical study reports, patient safety narratives, periodic safety update reports, regulatory summary documentation, regulatory responses, protocols, investigator brochures, training material and manuscripts for publication are included in her dossier of experience.

Margaret has a BSc in Biological Sciences, an MSc in Comparative Physiology, and a PhD in Endocrinology and Lipid Metabolism. 

She has held posts within the academic sector, as well as the industrial sector, and is particularly well placed to integrate rigorous science with customer needs.

Margaret has had training in medical writing, statistics, information technology, cardiovascular medicine, schizophrenia, pharmacokinetics, and personal and business skills.

Margaret recently received her European Medical Writers' Association (EMWA) Educational Development Programme Certificate (Special Topic "Pharmaceutical"), having completed all credits towards this qualification during the last 2 years.

She is also a member of the Institute of Clinical Research.
